Competition initiated by LG and Designboom, titled OLED LIGHT DESIGN COMPETITION 2016. LG Display OLED light Design Competition provides an opportunity for young innovators to showcase their works while receiving feedback from world-renowned professionals in the area of design. Through this initiative, LG Display hopes to nurture and support world-enriching creators.

Djehovan and his partner Meirifna create an U.F.O ( Unidentified Flying Oled ), a light sleeper that also functions to indicate time, inspired by the working of sundial.

UFO (Unidentified Flying OLED) is a light sleeper that also functions to indicate the time. This timepiece was inspired by the working of sundial by using shadow cast by the position of the sun to tell the time. But at the UFO, this concept has been maximized by the use of OLED as a substitute for the sun and the addition of clockwork for accurate time

How UFO work :
1. set up a base on a flat area and plug the power
2. Tide unit UFO over the base. The UFO will float because of the effect of the magnetism
3. make sure the direction of the needle in accordance with the present
4. UFO will light up when the magnet is connected to each other. You will gain experience in the days of yore when the sundial is still used, but with a more modern style and can illuminate you when you fall asleep
