A Global Competition initiated by ELITE BED, a well-known bedding company based in Switzerland. The purpose of this competition is to rethink beds and their environment as objects designed for current lifestyles while retaining the essence of authentic traditional craftsmanship.
Djehovan and his partner Meirifna create SARE, a unique bed that dedicated for someone who needs comfort and aesthetic at once.
Haute Couture design theme in SARE analogous to a gemstone, Luxury and Timeless. Diamond, Gold and red Ruby are chosen to represent the beauty of the gemstone. Color combination of Gold as The Timeless and Red Ruby as The Luxury create an elegant visual atmosphere on your bedroom. The geometric of Diamond shape that adopted in the bed base seems to reinforce the statement that SARE is another form of elegant sculpture in your bedroom.
The parametric design concept is used as a reference in the making of the main frame of the bed. It creates a dynamic shape and prioritizes comfort as a representative of the Sophistication of Craftmanship. The headboard design follows the shape of the parametric curve to support your spinal posture and the use of Memory Foam covered by Crimson Red leather on the headboard are to provide a maximum comfort when you want to chill in your bed.
SARE can be placed in the center of your bedroom, as a symbol of Luxury and Elegant Sculpture also provides maximum comfort for your sleep.
