An architecture competition initiated by IAI Jakarta and Pacitan city government, the aim is to design a museum which contain an archaeological object and also to harmonize with surrounding environment. Museum has meaning a place to keep and show off the object that deserves an attention. For example Historical relics, art and science. Nowadays, citizens assume museum as a prehistoric storage warehouse so they lazy to visit it.
Djehovan and her partner Meirifna try to find out a new typology for the museum. “Learning Museum” is a keyword, not radically change the main function but adding some new and fresh perception and also change the way of delivering information.
2 Proloque words, Museum ( a place for study ) and Park ( a place for play ) used as a composition to create “Active Landscape Park”, a new typology of the museum. Active Landscape Park is a combine-park which os has an outdoor and indoor area, presenting an information in a new way ( Interactive ) as well as places for interaction between human and history itself
