An Architecture Competition initiated by MALANG City Government, East Java, Indonesia. The aim is to design the city square of MALANG.
It start from the architecture development of each city in Indonesia growing rapidly, the identity of the city slowly fade due to the ongoing developments which aren’t combining the elements of culture and localities. For the next 50 years, all cities in Indonesia will look the same and boring in the absence of a characteristic in each cities.
Based on that issue, Djehovan has an idea to bring back the past conditions into city square design approach and blend it with local culture of MALANG City. Packaged in a modern and integrated with emerging technologies now. Design created to become a connection between human and human, humans and nature as well as humans with history it self.
