Tsunami is an unpredictable disaster, capable of destroying buildings and killing people. A high place is a safe point that must be reached when an earthquake happened which usually followed by a tsunami. Time becomes a very important matter because people must quickly reach a high place in a short time.
360S is also known as 360 seconds to safe is a Temporary Evacuation Shelter (TES) for Earthquake and Tsunami. It can be accessed quickly by the surrounding community.
It has an autopilot Safety Pod feature that able to bring refugees to the rescue location independently. As the water level reaches the Safety Pod, an emergency launch will be made to reach the evacuation point. The locking bracket will automatically open after the sensor is exposed to water. Safety Pod is automatically moved through the GPS system. This concept is more effective in dealing with unforeseen disasters and needs rapid handling.
The upper structure of the 360S is made rigid by channeling loads in a balanced way between the inner and outer sides of the structural columns. Overcoming the pressure from the outside, each module contained in the ramps and safety pod distribute the load and strengthen the unity of the module. While the tensile force caused by the tsunami is overcome by the beam and sling binder between the columns. With the principle of earthquake vibration damping, the perceived movement on the 360S did not occur spontaneously, but slowly followed and damped the movement of the earthquake. This helps each joint structure to survive during the earthquake.
The urgency of the need for placement of 360S in many tsunami prone points led to the speed of production is an important matter. With the modular concept make it possible to produce in large quantities in a short time.
